Policies
Terms & Conditions: Payment by cheque or credit card, or authorization to process instalments, must be submitted for registration to be completed. A non-refundable deposit will apply upon registration. A confirmation notice will follow receipt of registration and payment.
Discounts & Taxes: Please note that any applicable discounts will be credited and taxes debited to/from your account once your registration is confirmed.
Payment Options:
- Pay in full;
- Pay in 2 instalments ($60 deposit, payable today + balance on first day of class); or
- Pay by monthly instalments available for 2-semester registrations only (deposit equivalent to monthly fee, payable with registration + 8 equal payments, 1st of each month, Sept to April).
Monthly fees as follows, before tax, for 2-semester registrations:
- Our Time = $46/month
- Village, Imagine That and Family Time = $53/month
- Young Child and Recorder-Orff = $60/month.
Cancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation, there are no refunds for At-Home Materials that have been prepared for class or opened. Any refund on tuition will be effective the date of cancellation. After the 3rd class, tuition refunds will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee unless the client requests a credit on their account in lieu of a refund. Class schedule and teacher assignments may be subject to change. A minimum of 6 children is required for a class to run. If a class is cancelled for any reason, a full refund will be given. Tuition will be pro-rated if starting after the first class of any session.
NSF cheques will incur a $20 charge to your account.
HST: HST will be added to fees at the time of processing.
Currency: All transactions are in Canadian dollars.
If Your Child Is Sick: If your child has a fever, please wait until he/she is fever-free for 24 hours before returning to class. If your child has suffered a stomach bug or has thrown up within the last 24 hours please keep them at home. If your child has a severe cough, thick nasal discharge, rash or conjunctivitis please let them rest at home. Click here to schedule a make-up class.
Make-up Classes: If your child misses a class, we are happy to offer 3 make-ups per semester. Please understand that we do NOT guarantee that we will have space for make-ups, and that there are no refunds for missed classes. Make-ups must be made up during the same semester. You must be enrolled in the session during which you wish to schedule a makeup. Keep in mind that you may attend any age-appropriate class. For instance, if you are in Village, you may choose to attend Family Time or Sign & Sing, if another Village class does not fit your schedule.
Allergies: In recognition of that some children and adults have allergies; we request that no peanut products enter the studio and that no strong perfume or after-shave be worn to the studio.
Snow Days: There will be no classes if the school boards cancel school. If only the buses are cancelled, Kindermusik classes will run. Listen to the announcements on your local radio station (CHYM or 570 NEWS) or wait for your teacher to contact you to confirm any cancellations on that day. We will also post this information on our Blog and on our Facebook Community Page.
Privacy Policy: We keep your personal information private and secure. When you make a purchase from our site, you provide your name, your child’s name, date of birth and any special needs he or she may have, your email address, credit card information, address, phone number and a password. We use this information to process your registrations, to provide relevant information to your child’s teacher so she can meet his or her needs, and to keep you updated on news, events, and special articles of interest about Kindermusik and relevant community events. We will not sell, rent or loan your personal information to any third parties.
