Village With Seniors
Our regular Village program, but with a twist! Village with Seniors is taught at a local long-term care centre—a truly multi-generational experience.
A typical class includes lots of singing, dancing, rocking babies on senior’s laps, partner games, cuddles and hugs, as well as props and instruments, such as willowy scarves for movement and peek-a-boo games, mirrors, egg shakers, jingle bells, drums, and more. Activities are selected for a variety of interactive possibilities; seniors feel free to participate as much or as little as they can/want.
The music is often familiar to the seniors, bringing back memories of childhood and child rearing. Seniors in the program find a great deal of joy and satisfaction in observing the growing participation and development of the babies. You and your baby will foster valuable musical learning experiences while building personal relationships with loving caring seniors!

Terms & Conditions: Valid on an 8-week unit of Village classes. At Home Materials = $29.50 plus HST. Baby must be 3 months or younger at the start of classes.
